Windows Mobile 7 to drop multi-tasking, proves what Apple thinks today Microsoft thinks tomorrow

Microsoft’s upcoming mobile OS, Windows Mobile 7 is rumored to have no support for multi-tasking. Although all previous versions of the mobile OS had multi-tasking, this time Microsoft somewhat thinks different. I wonder which other mobile OS has a similar background?…oh I know…iPhone OS! If this rumor turns out to be true, then history will repeat itself. Yet one more time, what Apple has done in the past, Microsoft does today. And to our surprise it has almost worked every time, and this time too it may not be any more different.
We will not go into the details of explaining where Microsoft followed Apple’s footsteps and made billions of dollars, because we think the topic is very controversial, not to mention highly sensitive for most MS followers. Anyway…other than no multi-tasking support, the OS will look-and-feel very similar to that of Zune HD. It will also support full Xbox gaming integration and sync flawlessly with the Zune. Currently the OS is rumored to be launched early next week in Barcelona, Spain. Did we mention it has also been reported to be “better/faster” than the iPhone OS? Don’t hate us though if it doesn’t.
