The world’s first USB 3.0 4-port hub arrives

Ever since the arrival of USB 3.0, the currently popular USB 2.0 feels obsolete. But for some reason USB 3.0 is still not yet mainstream. The development in this area seems to be rather slow. But atleast here’s some good news for USB 3.0 device owners. Japanese computer peripheral maker Buffalo, has now come up with the world’s first USB 3.0 4-port hub.
Available in two colors, black and white, the device is currently supported by the following operating systems, Windows XP, 7, Vista and Mac OS X 10.4. The best part…this USB hub is also backward compatible with both USB 1.1 and USB 2.0 devices.
Price? 8000yen or $88.06 (with AC adapter)
