Monopoly Revamped, the design you have never seen before

February 19th, 2010 | No Comments | Posted in Design, Life

What it would be like if Monopoly board would have been revamped into this circular disc form? Don’t get shocked, because this is how Hasbro has designed the Monopoly game for the 75th anniversary edition, which will be released in the fall of 2010. The board gets a new circular look with the use of debit cards instead of paper bills while an ATM replaces the banker. The tokens will also turn over a new leaf with clear plastic forms.

The new form is supposed to play some sounds and clips of popular songs (like Rihanna’s “Umbrella,” Daniel Powter’s “Bad Day,” and Beyonce’s “Crazy in Love”) when certain events are performed in the game. This modern version is called the Monopoly: Revolution Edition and it remains to see how it works out with the avid Monopoly gamers.
