We have been seeing quiet a variety of recycled products; some from plastic, some from car tire and belts, while some made from discarded cans. Here’s some beautiful objects that have been created from disposed oil drums. These designs not only portray the fine skills of artisans from Haiti but also gives us ideas to impart new life to such useless things, that could otherwise had been simply lying around. This is the Birds of Paradise Mirror which has been hand sculpted from oil drums with tools like hammer and chisel by skilled Haitian artists.

There’s also this fantastic Tree of Life Wall Art which has also been created from recycled oil drum by Haitian artists. The mirror is priced at $79.00 and the wall art at $298.00. A percentage of the profits from the sale of the product will be donated to direct relief for the Haitian artisans by Viva Terra.
