Apple sued the Taiwan based mobile phone manufacturer HTC today at a Delaware district court and the U.S. International Trade Commission. Apple believes that HTC allegedly breached atleast 20 patents related to the iPhone. The infringement not only includes the UI, but also the hardware technology as well.

As per Apple CEO Steve Jobs, “We can sit by and watch competitors steal our patented inventions, or we can do something about it. We’ve decided to do something about it” . I am thinking, is this really a lawsuit against HTC or a message to Google?
