This is a precautionary wrist band that has been conceptualized for the safety of swimmers at beaches. So what does it do? In an emergency situation the person has to push a switch on the band to release a vibrant red colored balloon which gets inflated by  compressed helium gas. Simultaneously the balloon rises to make it easier for life guards at crowded beaches to spot the person and take necessary action.

The Cognitive Balloon concept lets anyone enjoy swimming with only a minimalistic wristband to wear.  Min Ji Hong and Kim Dong Eon are the designers for the product.
