Finally the Nexus One is compatible with AT&T 3G, Google now hopes to compete with Apple iPhone

Google finally launches the Nexus One that will support AT&T 3G. According to the Nexus One/Google blog, the mobile phone now supports both T-Mobile (U.S.) and AT&T 3G frequencies, so that you can choose the model according to your network. Not that this move will dethrone the supreme iPhone, but things do look good for Google. AT&T’s far superior 3G network can allow things to turn in Google’s favor.

The phone is available unlocked for AT&T unlike that of T-Mobile, where you can get it much cheaper ($199) although with a two year contract. But if you just want an unlocked “mega-powerful” phone with high-speed 3G, look no further. At $529 the Nexus One is your answer.
