Microsoft Internet Explorer 9 preview available for download, to support HTML5

Microsoft IE9 preview version is currently available for download. Although it is far from “ready”, you can still take a tour of it. The preview edition does not include the typical IE user interface, no back button and not even any security. But it includes Microsoft’s JavaScript engine codenamed “Chakra”. Probably the most important feature of the um coming browser is its support for HTML5.
Mix10 has been quite interesting. Almost all products turn out to be in Microsoft’s favor and IE9 doesn’t seem to be any different. The browser will support HTML5, CSS3 and SVG2. The current build has an Acid score of 55 and Microsoft is expecting the score to be much higher when the browser is ready.
Here’s a whole bunch of comparisons made with other competing browsers.
