Processed foods unlike natural ones have a date mentioned on the package that make it possible for us to know when to use and for how long we could keep them. How about a similar way to determine the freshness of whole veggies and fruits? Some people do have the ability to judge from the veggies itself but for others like me this concept of Fresh Code application would be a great help.
The Fresh Code looks similar to a bar code that has the ability to disappear gradually as the marked food material loses freshness. When whole of the bar code vanishes leaving a blank, it has to be understood that the natural product is just not right to be picked up. Isn’t this a great idea of selecting fresh vegetables? This Fresh Code concept comes from Sisi Yuan, Yiwu Qiu, Lei Zhao, Qiulei Huang, Lijun Zhang & Weihang Shu.
