Have you ever heard of Percusive Art?

March 29th, 2010 | 1 Comment | Posted in Design

This isn’t the first time that we are sharing art forms created from paper. Believe me, each time it is something so different and spectacular that it makes us rethink about paper and its transformations.[You might like to check out the papergraphic and castle!] I know you are still surprised with today’s paper creation which amazes us with its depth, colors and dynamic property.

Created by Charles Clary, these fantastic structures readily captivate our senses and we start relating them with various natural phenomena taking place around us. The finesse achieved may look like as if ‘machine made’ but are actually hand cut with the highest precision. The use of different shaded colored paper adds just the right magical effect. These Percusive Art installations which include acrylic and hand cut paper on panels, have been inspired from various microbial activities, sound waves etc. For more you should visit percusiveart.
