Split screen browser for your iPad, lets you get the best of both worlds

Did you ever find a situation where you are desperate to look at two different web pages, both at the same time? May be while you want to compare two texts? In your laptop/desktop this obviously isn’t an issue, but what about about your new iPad? A Portugese firm called ElasticFiction allows you to do that. The app called SplitBrowser literally allows you to do two different things at the same time. “This app offers you an ultimate web experience, allowing you to stream a video while checking out your emails; if you want to focus on the film, try the full screen mode.”
Well…this isn’t exactly “multi-tasking”, but not too bad a solution either. For quite a few people this may be good enough, until of course you get to taste the iPhone OS 4.0 in fall (for your iPad).
Price? $1.99
