Endangered Species built in Lego currently on display at Philadelphia Zoo
Surprised? These are actually penguin shaped models that have been put together with Lego bricks by Sean Kenney and his fantastic team of artists.Whenever you see these beautiful creatures you get awe struck at their magnificence, but simultaneously feel the deep dark danger of extinction they are in.That is why Lego artist Sean Kenney have created not only penguins but a bevy of amazing creatures currently on display at the Philadelphia Zoo. This is part of an effort to create awareness and educate children about the planet’s diverse creatures, with the steps needed to conserve forests and help save these organisms.
The exhibit named as ‘Creatures of Habitat, A Gazillion Piece Animal Adventure‘ includes polar bear, monkeys, penguins, frog,snake birds, turtle etc. There are also models in Lego that show how an already devastated rain forest could be reforested.The entertaining and educating exhibit is open to the public from April 10 to October 31.
