Intel releases rugged ClassMate PC, student friendly interactive tablet computers with up to 8.5 hours battery life

Intel has launched a new durable and convertible ClassMate PC. As a part of Intel Learning Series, these computers provide touch-screen UI, scratch resistant body, a much improved ruggedness/durability and are even optimized for e-Reading applications. So the next time your child drops the laptop from the table, nothing much will happen. Moreover, the device even features anti-microbial keyboards which are also 100% water-resistant. Available in two models Quanta NL1 (8.9 inch touch-screen) and Quanta NL2 (10.1 inch touch-screen), the tablet computers also feature accelerometer, rotating camera and run Windows 7/XP or Linux.That is not all. The ClassMate PC even features up to 8.5 hour battery life, definitely one of the best for any laptop computer.
