Brian J. Hogan is his name. Other than being part of one of the most controversial tech blunders in recent history, he is just an ordinary 21-year old guy. He does regret in not doing more to send the found iPhone to the actual owner though. Gawker Media later bought the lost iPhone (HD) prototype from him for a reported $5000 and published the now famous article ‘This is Apple’s next iPhone‘, an article that was viewed over 9.5 million times in less than two weeks!
In the meantime, Brian has not been charged by the law enforcement officials yet.
