Samsung ships its first Wave mobile phone running Bada, ahead of schedule
The first phone Wave phone has been launched by Samsung slightly ahead of schedule in Germany. This is also the first phone running Samsung’s own Bada operating system. Priced at around 429 Euros ($545) the device is now available (unlocked) for pick-up in Germany. The device model is S8500 and is considered a high-end alternative to other Samsung mobile phones.
The Wave S8500 includes a 3.3 inch touch-screen Super AMOLED display with 800×480 resolution. It is powered by a 1 Ghz processor and even includes 720p video recording.
