The ‘m’ element in the device was making all the chaos…I read and reread and thought of having a look if what I was reading was right. When I came across the picture I then realized, it was the Lamptop after all! We are so used to the word “laptop” that “Lamptop” seems to need an extra ‘m’ effort to say it out aloud. Coming back to this unique device…which looks like a laptop with an extended top portion, is in fact a lamp but has certain special features to prove its name.
Not only the Lamptop designed by Alex Nesterenko looks similar to a laptop, it even has switches or should I say keys to control it. You can switch it “on” by pressing the power button, while to switch it “off” it needs to be ‘Ctrl-Alt-Dell’-ed. The device even has some amount of RAM in addition to a screen on the vertical portion, for acting as a digital photo frame.
