Thinking ‘leaves’ and seeing them as well. These might look like large green leaves but in reality they are serving containers made of silica sand. A blend of nature and technology, this beautiful collection is called Seasons. Although each of these leaf-looking serving plates seems delicate, these are actually oven safe, microwave safe and can also be used in a dishwasher. They are even flexible enough to be rolled and tied up!

A look at the picture below, and it reminds you of rolled banana leaves which in many parts of the world is still used as serving plates. The elegant pieces from this Season’s collection are stackable, long-lasting, unbreakable and chip-resistant. Designer Nao Tamura has won the I SaloneSatellite Award for Seasons.
