Here’s a neat and beautiful way to enjoy tea. We are talking about teabag coasters. Teabag coaster? You probably haven’t heard about it. The designers have created a packaging idea for teabags that is made of compressed paper with embossed graphics. Normally we throw away the little envelope that holds the tea bag but the new idea transforms this into a coaster for the wet tea bag which is able to soak in [like blotting paper] the dripping liquid from the bag.

When the soaked bag is kept on the envelope, various patterns get revealed [picture above] making it altogether an artistically pleasing experience.This happens because the tea spreads faster on the less compressed area of the envelope surface.Designed by Yuree S Lim and Jleun Yang, the Teabag Coasters look like a wonderful concept.
