Google bans usage of Microsoft Windows inside the company

Google recently announced that the company is no longer allowing its employees to use Microsoft Windows in their computers at office. Why? It’s because Google feels that Windows is unsafe and unsecured (duh!). So now employees can choose from two operating systems, a Mac running Mac OS X or a PC running Linux. This decision was already lingering around for over 3 months when Google got attacked by Chinese hackers early January this year. And now things finally got…well…finalized.
If you are a new Google hire, try getting a PC running Windows now. All you have to do is to get an approval from the CIO! Hey, let’s look at the bright side…at least you get to know that dude.
But is this really bad news for Microsoft? May be. The Redmond giant may land up in problem if other tech companies follow the suit.
