Adobe Flash Player 10.1 final version is out, provides hardware acceleration and privacy mode

The final version of Adobe Flash Player 10.1 is now available for download. There was quite a hype about this new release, mostly because of the additional hardware acceleration capability that was added. But that is not all. The update also includes features like support for accelerometer, multi-touch, multi-core support and more intelligent graphical rendering.
Although you will not notice a change while streaming videos in standard mode, turning the video to ‘full-screen’ mode certainly shows a marked increase in speed. It feels smoother. Another interesting feature included in the new release is a ‘privacy mode’, which takes full advantage of your browser’s privacy mode. “Use the host browser’s “private browsing” mode so local data and browsing activity are not persisted locally, providing a consistent private browsing mechanism for SWF and HTML content.”
