Have a look at this clock. Anyone would think it to be a digital clock. Although it might appear digital, there is more to it than what meets the eyes. Every digit on the clock face is actually represented with a combination of six pairs of ‘clock’ hands. Each of the circular discs have a pair of oblong extensions which rotate about the disc with time, to form each of the four numbers. The movement of each pair of hands is powered by tiny electric motors.
It is like creating a digital display with the the use of clock hands. Called the Segmentus Clock, this concept is from Vasily Dubovoy from Studio Artlebedev.
