Dream Ball from Unplug Design

June 25th, 2010 | 1 Comment | Posted in Design, Life

Here’s an interesting packaging concept from Unplug Design. The idea Dream Ball Project focuses on helping the impoverished children of the third world countries by providing supplies needed in everyday life and also giving a unique gift like the “dream ball”. Food and medicine are generally sent to relief areas in boxes which later on is of no use. Instead of letting the boxes pile up, Dream Ball Project thinks of reusing the boxes into creating balls that the children can play with.

The pictures here showcases the design of such relief boxes which when lose their purpose can be dismantled and reused to create a variety of different sized balls. From baseball to handball to soccer, any such ball can be created with the packages, ready to bring smiles, across hundreds of not-so-privileged little sport enthusiasts.

What can be more heartwarming than this fabulous piece of effort in this grand World Cup Football Season!
