Folding Shower, a step to the future

July 9th, 2010 | 1 Comment | Posted in Design

Generally, folding solutions are sought after for small apartments or restricted spaces. What we have here is a Folding Shower which looks like a cabinet and compact enough to be installed in any small space without much hassle.

Since the shower is restricted to just the wall, the similar mechanism (as suggested by the makers) could be thought over variable sizes. Two doors on top are opened to reveal the curtain while the bottom is pulled down just like an oven door to serve as the base.

After use, the curtain needs to be drained before it is collapsed back into its compact form. The shower has also been designed to get naturally ventilated even while closed. For more on Folding Shower visit supiot.fr.

This is an awesome concept.  I would love it for my half bathroom.  Sucks that my home is on a slab foundation as far as drainage but no matter I still would love this application even if I needed a pump to drain.  I know pricing is going to be outrageous once this comes to market!!!!
