The arrangement begs us to think of a hidden lighting system behind the walls as if there existed a separate compartment. It is exactly what the Torn Lights wants us to perceive with the dramatic illusion.Torn Lights is a group of lights that come in special shapes which help in imparting certain mysterious effects to a room.

Each Torn Light in polypropylene forms consists of a set of LEDs [that have been injection molded] with the driver unit integrated into the mounting.The deception comes into play when the exterior portion of the lights are given the exact texture or color of the wall. According to the designer, “Blending the forms into the wall would comprise spackle, the original wall paint and either in-wall wiring or electrical FlatWire“.
