Nokia will soon be launching a new range of handsets that will include the best of both worlds, i.e. a numeric dial pad as well as a touch-screen. The device called X3 Touch and Type, will be first of its kind for Nokia to have such a combination. After all there is a large segment of population who still likes to have the conventional 12-button keypad. Not only the device will have such a cool combo, it will also be one of the thinnest cellphones in the market, at just 9.66 mm deep.
As for the specs, it is nothing extraordinary though, but will have enough to make the user happy. “…the X3 Touch and Type is full of features. It comes with four bands for voice, 3G, HSPA and WiFi for data, a music player and an FM radio. Mobile photographers get a 5-megapixel camera, with 4X digital zoom, which takes both still images and videos. The Communities app will keep you up-to-date with Twitter and Facebook.”
The X3 will be initially launched in the following countries: China, Ireland & UK, Russia, Australia & New Zealand, Singapore, Germany, Spain & Portugal, France, Mexico and Saudi & Yemen. Other countries will soon follow.
