Sandisk launches the world’s smallest 64GB integrated SSD
Sandisk has taken a big step in scaling down the size of portable drives. The U.S. based flash memory maker has recently launched a super-slim integrated SSD, that is also claimed to be the world’s smallest 64GB SSD . The device is not meant for external storage though, rather it will be directly soldered to the mother board. On a ball-park scale, it has size of a small postage stamp and weighs not more than a regular paperclip.
The memory capacity will range from 4GB to 64GB. The device will feature a read speed of 160MB/sec and a write speed of 100MB/sec. Overall, it is fast enough to make all users happy.
