By now Chrome has definitely established itself as one of the dominant web browsers, that has an even better future. But if you look back, the browser is actually the youngest out there among of the major five (IE, Firefox, Safari, Opera, Chrome). Chrome just celebrated its 2nd birthday on 2nd September. And Google promises even more features in the future editions, the latest stable release being version 6. The software has been written in C++ and Assembly language, and continues to be the fastest on the list.
