But, if you happen to have these very pair, then it does become special…at least strange enough for your guests who see it for the first time. As you can see, the coffee cup defies gravity and is magically stable in the tilted position. The fact is that the plate has a notch at its center for the cup to balance itself and not topple over.

Made of porcelain, the coffee cup can be used as a normal cup when filled with coffee. The designer with a design profile named XU 54, came up with this idea from an accidentally knocked coffee cup.
