We don’t really know anyone who is actually a Bing fan, but if you are, then here’s a good news. Launched in June 1, 2009, Microsoft’s own search engine has come a long way. Today, it is now the no. 2 search engine in the US, surpassing Yahoo! which dropped to the third spot. Bing grew from 13.6 % to 13.9 % in August this year, while Yahoo! dropped from 14.3 % to only 13.1 %.

Bing’s success was expected though, since Yahoo! is now powered by Bing itself in Canada and US. The search king Google is still very safe though, as its market share jumps from 64.2% to 65%.
