Band-Aid Liquid Bandages for those who don’t like sticky tapes
We are used to applying bandages on small cuts and bruises. What if you are not so fond of the sticky tape? Here’s a concept from graduate industrial design student, John Venida who has thought of a liquid bandage alternative. It has been designed to be available in a pack of five tubes.
Whenever there’s a need of first aid, one of the capped tubes which consists of medicine and applicator is taken out. After removal of the cap the rubberized grip is pressed for the medicine to advance towards the applicator. The spongy-end moistened with liquid bandage is then applied wholly over the wound which takes about a minute to dry up. The applicator which turns red after use is recapped for safe disposal. The BAND-AID Liquid Bandage is portable, easy to use and could come in a variety of colored packages.
