Driver-less Taxi becomes a reality, proves that Google is not alone
Just when you thought that Google’s driver-less car is simply too good to be true, here comes more news on other driver-less options. A team from Germany’s Freie University has built a new functionality for the Volkswagen Passat that will help the car drive all by itself with the help of a whole bunch of laser scanners, cameras, GPS, radars and of course the iPad.
All you need to do is enter the location where you want the taxi to go, and the rest is taken care. You an even watch the taxi move in the map in real-time, courtesy of the iPad app.
