Mount Everest gets 3G connectivity

The world’s highest mountain now has a 3G mobile network service base station. Setup by a Nepal-based mobile phone company called Ncell, the 3G base is located at an altitude of 17,000 feet (5,200 meters), and will have a speed up to 3.6 MB per second.
