November 19th, 2010 | No Comments | Posted in Hardware

Dell will soon launch its first tablet netbook, a sort of iPad alternative but powered by a full-scale OS like Windows 7. The netbook features a revolving 10-inch screen that turns the computer into either a multi-touch tablet or a touch-based netbook. The device is powered by a 1.5 GHz dual-core Atom processor, 2GB of RAM, a 250GB HDD and a Broadcom Crystal HD accelerator.

The user interface would include a customized application layer running on top of Windows 7. Estimated price starts at $549.

Availability? December 2010.
