Google Maps for Mobile 5 released, now supports 3D buildings and offline mode

Google Maps has come a long way, and now version 5 (latest release) takes it to a whole new level. Vector-based dynamic maps (instead of flat images), 3D rendering of buildings and landmarks, a much better support for finger-based gestures and even functional in offline mode (of course with a few limitations). At this point the application will be limited to the following devices though: Galaxy S, Droid, Droid X, Droid 2, Droid Incredible, Evo, Nexus S, and the G2.
