All the beautiful iPhones, iPads, iPods, Android tablets, and most other similar devices you see around are manufactured at a particular location on this planet. It is called the Foxconn, a Taiwan-based mass-production electronics manufacturer and a direct supplier for most of the prestigious electronics brands, including Apple, Microsoft, Google, HP, Dell, Sony, Nokia and several others.

The $60 billion company recently announced that it has now over 1 million employees, most of them located in China. The best part…they are still hiring! The work culture for Foxconn isn’t the best. Several incidents of mistreatment have been reported. However, it is still the epicenter of consumer electronics and will probably stay like that at least for a while.
