The sunflower lunchbox is a smart meal assistant

December 14th, 2010 | No Comments | Posted in Design, Gadgets

Warm lunches are always welcome and so are the ideas that seem to make that happen. Designed by Edita Barabas, this Sunflower Lunchbox with a push of a button can either warm up your food or cool it right before you want to have it, that too using solar energy.

The lunchbox has 4 petal shaped solar panels which can be detached from the box. For storing solar energy each of the petals is arranged at right angles to each other and then attached to the window pane at the central core. When the battery gets charged up, you simply select the settings [heating/cooling] for each of the individual compartment of the box. When done, you are ready to enjoy your perfect meal!
