Apple’s Mac App Store will begin operations on January 6

December 16th, 2010 | No Comments | Posted in Apple

To bring you the same app store experience like that of iPhone and iPad, Apple will soon start its Mac App store operations for its desktops/laptops starting January 6, 2011. You can easily search, install and update applications for your Macbook or iMac, exactly like how you would for your iPhone. However, a few Mac developers think this would be too complicated.

Apple’s stringent policies on app submission is notorious. The limitation of application trials, application update procedures and complicated submission guidelines are some of the hurdles. On the brighter side, the quality of apps should improve vastly and searching for an app would also become much simpler. Moreover, most critics agree that this wouldn’t be much of a hassle at all.
