Although Christmas is still a week away, celebrations seem to be in full swing in Emirates Palace Hotel in Abu Dhabi. There’s a 11 million dollar Christmas tree on display at the hotel which has been touted to be the most expensive decorated tree.

Shimmering and glittering with precious stones, the 13m tall tree is actually adorned with necklaces, earrings, watches and other valuable jewelry in addition to regular ornaments and lights. The tree laden with diamonds, pearls, emeralds, sapphires, [181 in total] will be exhibited till the year’s end. Hopefully it would have a place in the Guinness World Records as the authorities perceive.
