Pure Water Bottle

December 23rd, 2010 | No Comments | Posted in Environment, Life

Pure Water Bottle is a device that filters dirty water from any water source and makes it potable. Designed by Timothy Whitehead, it is capable of cleansing water from its impurities with size up to 4 microns and sterilizing the water in a matter of two minutes.

The outer chamber of the bottle is first filled with dirty water. Then the filter portion of the bottle is inserted into the outer chamber just like a piston. After the water gets filtered, it is sterilized for 90 secs using a wind-up ultra violet bulb. When done, the water can be consumed. The Pure Water Bottle has won a James Dyson Award in UK.
