Toshiba unveils the world’s first solar-powered e-book reader

Toshiba, along with KDDI has developed the world’s first solar-powered e-book reader. Called the Biblio Leaf, the device has a solar panel built-in and features a 6-inch E-Ink display. Toshiba promises that the Biblio Leaf will allows you to read 25 books, or 7,500 pages, on just a single charge.

The device will be initially available in Japan through KDDI, who will also offer a two-year 3G wireless connectivity for $20 a month.
