Meet the Stairscraper twisting and turning to reach for the clouds
How tall do you think Jack’s beanstalk grew? It definitely grew that much so as to penetrate the clouds. We might not have such an awesome beanstalk like Jack but hey, there’s a humongous spiral staircase in talks which probably should reach the clouds [and might lead to heaven, who knows!] The winding staircase like structure is actually the Stairscraper, a skyscraper designed by Nabito flaunting a curvy staircase look.
The building planned for New York city is said to satisfy every other needs of today’s urban society. It is a complex structure which addresses the requirement of an individual reclusive abode while also having public places. “The Stairscraper is a superposition of individual singular garden houses with the same characteristic of the horizontal sprawl, but liberating the land and concentrating the uses and the energy. It is a social collective of individualities.”
The project has won the Total Housing Competition.
