The Verizon iPhone 4 has been announced as expected. Verizon CEO Lowell McAdam, confirmed that the CDMA version of the iPhone 4 is finally coming to the America’s largest wireless network, starting February 10. The phone is identical in terms of looks and features when compared to the AT&T GSM edition, the only difference being the CDMA technology in case of Verizon.
The pricing would be standard. Based on a two-year contract, it will be $200 price for the 16GB model and $300 for the 32GB version. With the iPhone 4′s immense popularity, Android-based cellphones are likely to have serious competition in the Verizon network. However, only time will tell how things actually turn up.
Update: The Verizon iPhone 4 can be used as a hotspot. This means that you can connect up to 5 different wireless devices to the iPhone 4 and access internet with them.
Verizon Wireless and Apple® today announced that the iPhone® 4 will be available on the Verizon Wireless network beginning on Thursday, February 10. Qualified Verizon Wireless customers will be given the exclusive opportunity to pre-order iPhone 4 online on February 3, ahead of general availability.
