Microsoft launched a new web development tool, called WebMatrix. The tool makes creation of web applications a breeze and is a complete one-stop solution for simple to moderately complex projects. It even has support for popular PHP-based open source applications like WordPress, Drupal and Joomla. WebMatrix also allows integration to Twitter, PayPal, Facebook, bit.ly, Groupon, Windows Azure, PollDaddy and Foursquare.

As Microsoft puts it, “WebMatrix is a brand new web development tool from Microsoft that includes everything you need for website development.
