Microsoft sells 2 million Windows Phone 7 units, still no match for Apple
Microsoft recently announced that the company has sold over 2 million Windows Phone 7 units over the holiday quarter. The number indicates worldwide stats, not just the US. Microsoft was able to sell 1.5 million units in the initial six weeks of the Windows Phone 7 launch. Although the 2 million sales number isn’t too bad, it is nowhere close to that of iPhone sales during the same period, which stands at a whopping 16.2 million!
