Microsoft to introduce ‘disposable’ email ids

February 4th, 2011 | No Comments | Posted in Microsoft

Quite a few times you would need to enter an email address to join a website, forum or subscription. However, you really don’t want to give away your personal email id everywhere. So, to make things easier Microsoft will soon introduce ‘disposable’ email addresses. These temporary email addresses can be connected to your primary email id in Hotmail, where all the messages will be redirected.

Once you do not need to receive notifications or messages to your temporary email address, you can just get rid of them, and live spam-free. There is a limitation of 5 temporary email addresses per account per year though.
