Insert the Attemper Stir-Stick in a liquid to heat or cool it

February 14th, 2011 | 1 Comment | Posted in Gadgets

What do you generally do when your piping hot coffee loses heat as you work along? You might re-heat it. Here’s a solution from Cindy Karimun who insists on using the Attemper Stir-Stick to obtain the desirable temperatures of beverages without you having to leave your desk.

The Attemper Stir-Stick is a special gadget which in addition to stirring, could also heat up or cool down the beverage in which it is inserted. To heat a liquid, the bulbous head of the stick is turned clockwise. A red glow on the end shows that the stick is in the heating mode. The same head when turned anti-clockwise emits a blue glow to indicate the cooling mode. The stick is made of a thermoelectric material for serving both the purposes.

The gadget is powered up by docking it on a charging station. While charging, the dock displays a red light which changes to green on completion. Heating or cooling a liquid couldn’t have been more convenient.
