The dog isn’t real but the squirrel doesn’t understand. The similar red-orange tinge of the fur could have done the trick. These pictures are from the photographer’s garden in Moscow who was lucky enough to click some moments of an inquisitive red squirrel with a statue of a dog.

It is said that the little furry animal scampered around its giant friend to check him out while at times looked straight at its face in need of a reaction. After exhaustive efforts to get some attention it perched itself on the statue’s head to gnaw on the nut he had with him all the time during his investigation process.
