The tablet you see above is not like the iPad or any other similar device. It has an entirely different purpose. It is meant to replace paper and solves the purpose of a note-taking gadget. With a 13-inch (760 x 1080) E-Ink display, the NoteSlate can be used for writing, reading and even an eBook reader. It also features a SD card reader, a 3.5mm audio output and WiFi.

The device will be powered by an optimized version of Linux. The NoteSlate will be priced only $99 each.
