Protea, the thermotropic lamp

Protea is a lamp that exhibits thermotropic movement. When the lamp is switched off the shade hugs the lamp. As soon as it it is switched on the shade opens up like a flower to reveal the warm bulb within. Protea has been designed by Karl Zahn.
