Airplane transformed into a luxury suite for two
When you need a break you could fly out to your favorite holiday destination, but how about enjoying a stay in an airplane itself? Capable of accommodating 120 passengers, this plane, once owned by an East German airline company delivers just the same. With a history of numerous flights and serving as a restaurant for 15 years, the airplane at Teuge airport, Netherlands now boasts of being a luxury hotel.
A suite for two, the interior comprises of “a jacuzzi, separate shower, infrared sauna, mini bar, 3 flat screen televisions, blu-ray DVD player with a comprehensive collection of DVDs, a pantry with oven/microwave combination, coffee and tea maker, free wireless internet, air conditioning, etc.” The plane could also be reserved for holding corporate meetings for a group of 10-15 persons. In addition to all the aforementioned facilities, there’s also an intact cockpit for the curious guests to look around.
Price? “An overnight stay for 2 persons including a luxury breakfast costs € 350” .
